ITUS realizes that the current government owned maritime operations are plagued by the lack of skilled manpower, spares and ability of suppliers to meet deadlines. In an effort to showcase our capability to manage servicing of marine vessels, Itus has tied up with the Coastal Police, Indian Coast Guard, Customs and Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) a public sector undertaking, under Ministry of Defence, Govt of India to maintain and repair its sea going vessels. Our ‘One Boat One Vendor’ Strategy has yielded results and we manage the entire pre and post operations of the 5 ton and 12 ton boats of the Coastal Police in South Indian States in cooperation with GRSE.
We have a 25 member strong team of contract technicians, stationed in Chennai who are available round the clock to manage operational servicing and repairs of Fast Interceptor Boats.
